The CONNECT portfolio typically meets the needs for visitor services in foyers, conference auditoriums, restaurants and meeting rooms but can be extended to cover the entire workplace.   When a user turns on their mobile device and starts their Explorer they automatically see a branded portal providing access to a menu of visitor services which can include access to the internet, printers, projectors and visitor information pages. The information pages includes room & catering booking facilities, host company information and access to industry news.

Building Zones are specifically aiming the service at Facilities Managers as an enhancement to existing visitor reception services.

Importantly the service is operated independently from the existing building private network infrastructure and therefore there is no security risk to mission critical business applications from laptop born viruses or local hackers.
